SOREN PACKER

Piano

Soren Packer began his piano studies with Phillip Dieckow at the Dieckow School of Music at the age of 11. He attended The Hudson School and in 1996 was accepted to the LaGuardia High School for the Performing Arts in New York City. By his high school graduation, Soren had performed in over 30 recitals at the Dieckow School of Music and at LaGuardia, including a solo junior and senior recital in Hoboken.

In 2000 the young pianist was accepted to the renowned Indiana University School of Music. While a student at IU he studied with Evelyne Brancart and Edmund Battersby, graduating in December 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in both music/piano and business.
